FORT WORTH (March 30, 2011) – Racing fans can get ahead of freeway traffic and avoid parking lot bottlenecks by taking The T’s Victory Lane Express bus shuttles to and from the Samsung Mobile 500 NASCAR race on Saturday, April 9 at Texas Motor Speedway.
The T will operate the park and ride bus service for $10 per person round-trip from Tarrant County College Northwest Campus to Texas Motor Speedway, starting at 12:30 p.m.
Victory Lane Express riders may park in the north parking lot at the TCC Northwest Campus at 4801 Marine Creek Parkway. Buses depart from the campus from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Buses will begin returning from the speedway that night 30 minutes following the race. The last returning bus leaves the speedway 90 minutes after the race ends.
“Victory Lane Express” passengers will be dropped off and picked up in the Speedway’s bus parking area located just off SH 114 and Allison Ave. on the south side of the speedway within easy walking distance to the entrance. The bus departure location at the speedway is one of the quickest ways off the property following a racing event.
