TEX Rail Plans Underway!
TEX Rail, is a 27-mile commuter rail project being developed by the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) and will be the next passenger rail service coming to Tarrant County. The service is projected to have more than 13,600 daily riders using 9 rail stations at full build out.
The line begins in downtown Fort Worth at the existing T&P Station (currently served by the Trinity Railway Express commuter service) and travels through the ITC station, also in Downtown Fort Worth, continuing across Northeast Tarrant County to the Cities of North Richland Hills and Grapevine and into Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Terminal B.
That terminus point at DFW Terminal B will be adjacent to a Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Rail Station which will also serve the airport on the east side.
