How to Ride

 

Riding The T has Never Been so Easy

Follow these steps and your trip will be a breeze.

 

Arrive Early

Arrive a few minutes early at the designated stop and wait where the operator can see you.

Check the Route

As the bus approaches, check the number and destination written on the front of the bus. Make sure it is the line you want.

Pay Up

Be ready with cash, valid bus pass, E Pass or activated GoPass for smoother boarding access.
We are not able to issue change or refunds for cash overpayments.

Be Careful

As the bus approaches, stay back from the curb and wait for it to reach a complete stop before boarding.

Push the Button

When you are ready to get off, push the plastic strip near the window to request the next stop.

Gather Your Belongings

When exiting, gather personal items and leave through the exit door at the rear of the bus.

Customer Service

If you need help knowing what route to take, call Customer Service at 817.215.8600. Our helpful representatives are available to help plan your trip, by phone, from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The Customer Service kiosk, inside the ITC (Intermodal Transportation Center) is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and closed on Sunday.

No Fare Free Zone

If you ride only in The T’s Downtown Free Zone, there is no need for fare. The Free Zone includes all of the Central Business District, bounded on the south by Lancaster Ave., west by Henderson St., north by Belknap and east by Jones St.
