Avoid traffic with T bus shuttle to Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial

FORT WORTH (May 16, 2008) – To ease traffic congestion to the Crowne Plaza Invitational golf tournament at Colonial, The T will provide round-trip, express bus service from the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) downtown Fort Worth T&P station to the Colonial Country Club on Thursday through Saturday, May 22, 23 and 24.
The T’s Colonial express bus service is free with a TRE day pass, which is $5 round-trip from Dallas County and $3 from Tarrant County. The T’s Colonial express bus schedule coincides with morning to early evening arrivals and departures of TRE trains at the T&P station.
On Thursday, May 22 and Friday, May 23, The T’s Colonial express buses will leave the T&P station to the Colonial from 6:50 a.m. until 6:10 p.m. and the last returning bus will depart from the Colonial at 6:31 p.m. On Saturday, buses will leave the T&P Station from 9:40 a.m. until 6:04 p.m., and the last returning bus will leave the Colonial at 6:25 p.m.
The T’s Colonial express bus will pick up TRE incoming passengers from the south side of the T&P parking lot. The Colonial express bus travel time between the T&P station and the Colonial entry gates is approximately 20 minutes.
